Interested in trying Yoga but prefer to take a class seated in a chair? Chair Yoga is for you! It’s a gentle form of yoga. You will practice yoga sitting in a chair or standing using the chair for support. Complicated maneuvers and complex movements are NOT present in this class. You will learn many yoga postures, breathing techniques, meditation and ways of relaxation with the aid of a chair.
Join others and create your yoga community while feeling better - stronger, looser, more flexible. Chair yoga promotes well-being through breathing correctly and stretching in ways that will open up the body on the course to more strength, flexibility, mental clarity, and better overall health.
Helpful for people who: have desk jobs and want to release tension, for those who are recovering from an illness or injury, have knee, joint, or balance challenges, as well as for people who seek better sleep, more peace of mind, or are curious about yoga. We will work our bodies from head to toe with simple easy movements that are great to do anytime and anywhere for people in all conditions.
Space is limited. We keep the class size small for this series….
